Howe Writing Center

The Howe Writing Center at Miami University is a student-focused resource dedicated to supporting writing development across all disciplines. As a Writing Consultant, I collaborate with peers to provide personalized feedback on a variety of projects, including academic essays, research papers, resumes, and creative pieces. My role involves offering guidance on organization, clarity, argument development, and style while tailoring feedback to each writer’s goals. I’ve worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds, refining their writing process and helping them build confidence in their communication. Beyond one-on-one sessions, I contribute to workshops and writing initiatives that emphasize critical thinking and effective communication, further enhancing my ability to adapt to different writing challenges and audiences.
